Aduana Stars coach Yusif Abubakar is plotting the downfall of Libyan side Al Tahaddy ahead of the return leg of the CAF Champions League.
The Fire Boys begun their CAF Champions League campaign on a losing ground following a 1-0 defeat to Libyan top flight side Al Tahaddy in Cairo, Egypt, last Sunday.
But coach Abubakar is already putting measures in place to edge out their opponents in the return encounter by disclosing the tactics they are rehearsing on ahead of the crunch game.
“Ghanaians are expecting us to go beyond the preliminary round of the competition,” he told Class FM.
“When we played Al Tahaddy on Sunday, we studied how they play and certain things they did during the game.”
“Going into the return game, we have put some strategies in place to make sure that we are not kicked out of the competition so what we are working on is our tactical approach and I will be hoping the players will adapt to that,” he added.
The much anticipated return encounter will come off in fortnight time at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dorma.
