AC Milan could add Ghana midfielder Michael Essien in a bid to buy Zenit St. Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito.
The Russian club have valued the 27-year-old at around €13 million and the San Siro outfit would be looking to offload one of their fringe men in order to lower the price of the ex-Genoa man.
According to MilanNews.it, Milan would be willing to trade at least one of four players to Zenit in their proposal for the Italian defender’s services with those players being Essien, Ignazio Abate, M’Baye Niang, and Cristian Zapata.
Criscito scored one goal and provided three assists in his 18 league appearances for the Russian side last term. Essien is also on the wanted list of Trabzonspor and Olympiakos.
