The ball was designed by ADIDAS
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially unveiled the match ball for the 2017 African Nations Cup. The ball was designed by ADIDAS and it was created to with the conditions in Gabon in mind i.e. weather and playing surfaces at the four stadia which will be used in the tournament.
The name of the ball is not yet known though. The design and provision of the AFCON match ball is part of Adidas’ partnership with CAF. The tournament runs from January 14 to February 5, 2017.
