Hails from Korle Gonno, Accra in the Greater Accra region and was born on the 11th of March, 1952.
Has an MA in Mass Communication from the Leicester University in UK and was a communication consultant with Tropical Vision Strom Company Limited before becoming an MP.
As a member of the majority, he obtained 56,162 votes out of the 109,510 valid votes cast = 51.3% in the last elections.
Married with four children, and is a Catholic Catholic.
