Bandana is a dancehall/raglife artiste who scored a major hit with his single, Moko Ho (Bandana from Ghana). Spotting a dress code heavy with the colours of the Ghana national flag in the video to the song, it was clear that he wanted to take Ghanaian music to the world (outanational as he puts it). The influence of Jamaican dancehall artists such as Elephantman and Beenie Man can be felt in his songs. He sometimes raps in Jamaican Patois.
His real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr and he schooled in Winneba Secondary School, where he was nicknamed Doggy. He has two albums to his credit and currently working on new material. Some of his popular songs are No problem, Obaa Yaa.
