Two persons died on the spot when a tyre they were fixing exploded at Hwidiem in the Asante Akyem North District of Ashanti Region.
Two others, who sustained various degrees of injury, are currently responding to treatment at the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital.
The two, who died on the spot, included a steel welder and a tricycle rider, who brought a defective tyre of a heavy duty vehicle for repairs.
