Ghana’s U-20 women’s football team, the Black Princesses, will leave Accra on Monday, October 31 en route to Papua New Guinea ahead of the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Ghana has been drawn in Group C for the tournament, which begins on Saturday, November 13.
The Princesses will kick-start their campaign with Oceania side New Zealand before taking on France and USA in the group.
Head Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani said the team will play two warm-up games ahead of the tournament.
The first will be on November 8, he said, and the second game two days later.
The friendly matches will be played before the team jets to Port Moresby for the tourney.
