NDC MPs Exit Group Vows To Secure One Touch Victory For Mahama

About 47 Members of Parliament from the Majority side, who will not be returning to Parliament next year, have pledged their unflinching support to the NDC and John Dramani Mahama to ensure victory in the 2016 elections.

The MPs are made up of persons who failed to win their primaries and those who decided not to seek re-election.

The Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, Alfred Agbesi who led the “Exit Group” said whether in or out of Parliament, the interest of the NDC remains supreme to them.

Addressing the press at the New Block of Parliament in Accra, by the group which is known as the 2016 NDC MPs Exit Group, he said the aim and objective of the group is to work hard towards ensuring a one touch victory for the National Democratic Congress.

The MP for Mfantiman West, Aquinas Quansah reminded his colleagues that infrastructure alone cannot win the elections, especially when their opponents are “deceiving Ghanaians” that the projects are been funded by NGOs.

When Onua News asked him whether they will support candidates who are financially handicap by raising funds for their campaign, he replied that they would be willing to support only candidates who are “humble”.
