President Akufo Addo is expected to name his 10 regional ministers later today Tuesday Jan. 24, 2017 as part of the process to filling all relevant positions as his government takes shape nationally.
The list has however been submitted to parliament for vetting and onward approval but the date of the vetting of the regional nominees is not yet known.
The president has already named some 36 nominees for various ministerial positions that are currently undergoing vetting.
It is unclear when deputy ministerial positions would be announced but 3news.com sources within the corridors of power indicate that a lot of jostling is on-going for the remaining positions.
President Akufo Addo announced that he would be appointing the deputy ministerial positions in consultation with the substantive ministers after they have been approved by parliament.
He there hinted that all persons who want the deputy ministerial positions should start lobbying for those positions.
