Accessory Designer of the Year at the 2016 Ghana Fashion Awards ‘Mpaboa’ has described his award as the greatest achievement in his one year of service in the fashion industry.
‘Mpaboa’ scooped the award in the bags and sandals category at the event held on Saturday, November 19 at the Mercedes Benz Showroom, Silver Star Tower.
The budding young entrepreneur nicked the award, having been pitched against some recognised heavyweights in the fashion industry.
Lawyer Sandra Ankobiah and highlife artiste Okyeame Kwame were among personalities who walked home as winners on the night.
In a post on his Facebook wall, Chief Executive Officer for ‘Mpaboa’ Kwabena Adu Gyamfi thanked his fans and described his award as a great achievement.
“One year one award….Have been able to achieve what I have not been able to achieve in 5 years as a journalist. When talents meet passion, indeed excellence is the result. Indeed #the race is not to the swift.
“I thank God so much for this award and also to my customers…you made this #mpaboa what it is today… This award is for you.”
