A man believed to be in his 40s is reported to have died immediately after casting his vote Wednesday morning in Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region.
In a report filed by Onua FM‘s correspondent Festus Sefa, the man complained of ill-health to polling officials upon arrival at the voting centre and was, consequently, given a chair to sit on.
He said the man was able to cast his presidential ballot but collapsed as he was about to cast the parliamentary ballot.
He was then rushed to the hospital, where he died shortly upon arrival.
