The New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the country needs infrastructural development that will not only be there for Ghanaians to see but that which will be working for the people.
He said this at a press conference in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, the Ashanti Regional rally scheduled for Wednesday, November 30 was suspended due to the ban on noisemaking after the demise of the Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Ampem II.
Nana Akufo-Addo reiterated his promises for the country and assured the electorate of the party’s readiness to revive the economy from its current state.
He also preached the peace message.
“We have a responsibility to keep our country together. We are all Ghanaians so that should be the link to hold us together, no matter where you come from.”
He urged the electorate to look for the elephant symbol and vote massively for the NPP.
