THE BEAUTY of the ruling National Democratic Party’s official campaign launch held in the Central Regional capital, Cape Coast, was marred last Sunday after strange posters splattered the venue asking for real killers of Ghana’s Late President, John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.
The posters, bearing the portrait of the late President with inscription “Who Killed Mills?”, were seen splashed around the newly built Cape Coast Stadium, alongside some other posters bearing images of the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and other parliamentary candidates of the NDC including Hon. Kwaku Rickett-Hagan.
It is not clear those behind the action but unconfirmed report said it was carried out by some youths from Ekumfi who are not happy about the circumstances surrounding the death of the late President.
The late President Mills died in July 2012 under strange circumstances, with questions still lingering over the real cause of death.
Though several interest groups, including political opponents of the ruling party have in the past made request for the postmortem report to be made public, the government has been adamant.
