Moments ago when I got onto the group and I was greeted with two banners really very important banners and truths. One read. There’s hope in CHRIST ALONE and my comments were MAJOR AND PRINCIPAL TRUTH BUT NOT IN MEN. The other said; THIS MY COMMANDMENT THAT YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU(JOHN 15:12), and my response were ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL AND IT SOLVES ALL PROBLEMS AMONG THE DISCIPLES OR BELIEVERS. IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. AMEN.
The chaotic world could also benefit from such a wonderful Person and GOD JESUS CHRIST. Loving one another with the Spirit of God made His home in our hearts is not difficult however it is very difficult to sometimes even love your loved ones truly in our natural life alone let alone your enemies. This is the reason why Jesus Christ being the Author and Finisher of our spiritual life is not just calling us into His salvation and leave us to figure out how we will grow spiritually. or getting some smart men to teach us according to steps modular of how to become matured Christians.
God in Jesus Christ is ultimately saving us in His or unto God’s life which is the only thing acceptable to God after the reconciliation with us whilst we were yet dead. Catch a glimpse with the following scripture.
Rom 5:10 For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled.
Prior to Romans 5:10 we were told that we have already been saved, because we have been redeemed, justified, and reconciled. And you rightly question again why does this verse suddenly say that we shall be
saved?
Redemption, justification, and reconciliation all require the death of Christ in which His blood was shed, while sanctification, transformation, and conformation require the inward working of His life. Christ’s death on the cross saved us in an objective way, and His life will save us in a subjective way. We need to be saved more and more. We have been saved from hell and from God’s condemnation: this is positional [or objective] salvation. Now we need to be saved from our disposition, such as our old man, our self, our natural life, etc.: this is dispositional [or subjective] salvation.
The beautiful and warmth virtues enjoyed with matured Christians is the result of this type of savings. Such savings enables us to live our whole life to express God Himself in our daily living and it becomes easier for us to even love those who does us harm just as God did to us. When we worship in a place where many of such Christians are; there is some kind of unexplained warmth and orderliness and love prevailing there.
“Much more, we shall be saved in His life.” Daily we need to be saved from so many negative things. We need to be saved from our temper and our self. We need to be saved in His life from the besetting sin, that is, to be freed from the law of sin and death. We need to be saved in His life from being worldly, that is, to be sanctified. We need to be saved in
His life from our natural being, that is, to be transformed from our natural life.
We need to be saved in His life from being self-like, that is, to be conformed to the image of Christ, the firstborn Son of God. And we need to be saved in His life from being individualistic, that is, to be built up with others into one Body. These are the savings in the life of Christ, which will be fully defined in the following chapters [in Romans].With such salvation we are one in spirit with God and therefore can identify the mode and countenance of God or any moments He expresses His displeasure at our wrong doings.
