“… Would Dr. Kwame Nkrumah kowtow to that predatory, oil racket of a contract that has thus far siphoned over $6 billion from hungry and desperate mouth and brains in Ghana?…They all have had the facts and the data, as Mr. Andy Kwawukume told the story the other day…They are mostly a sad lot who never bothered to ask Mr. Mahama…the important question about Ghana’s Oil Revenues…How much and why?…We find Adam of ACEP on his knees begging Mr. Mahama to sign the fraudulent predatory oil bill… They are, to name the proverbial few, a “Dirty Dozen Plus 2″, so to speak, namely)…”, (Prof Lungu, 2 Sep 16).
Reference Andy Kwawukume’s “A day of betrayal and shame”, of 3 Sep 16.
We will never give up until the Government of Ghana proves to the People of Ghana that Ghanaians as Sovereign Owners of the Oil Resources are in fact receiving their Fair-Share of its own Oil Revenues!
They are beginning to look like a sorry, pitiful, lot!
Sadly, they are a lot more interested in an $18,000 Ford SUV chenchema, than the $6 billion plus oil revenue lost to Ghana over the last 5 years.
Just imagine, $6 billion can buy 17,1430 2017 new Limited Edition Ford SUVs, if Ghanaians, in their collective “wisdom”, were foolish enough to open their wallet, at $35,000 each. Imagine each Hospital in Ghana could receive, delivered, 520 of those same brand new Ford SUVs they could convert to ambulances and emergency vehicles at Suame Magazine or any number of mechanic bastions all across Ghana , if we were that inane. And that would have been the best and highest use of the $6 billion for/by Ghanaians, rather than swelling the pockets of the Oil Company KOSMOS and Tullow, and sundry “Big Men” with fat overseas bank accounts derived from Ghana’s oil.
They are more interested in Obinim Whips on adolescent teenagers caught in an intemperate lover’s nest!
They are mostly a sad lot who never bothered to ask Mr. Mahama and his government the important question about Ghana’s Oil Revenues and the loss of the $6 billion: How Much and Why?
They, like Adams’ ACEP and Cudjoe’s IMANI, claim to be Think Tanks with expertise and objectivity branded on their foreheads.
But, we find that they are more interested in Montie 3 nonsense!
We find Adam of ACEP on his knees begging Mr. Mahama to sign the fraudulent predatory oil bill quick!
They all have had the facts and the data, as Mr. Andy Kwawukume told the story the other day, just as surely as Mr. Kwawukume took time to identify them on those pages the other day.
They are, to name the proverbial few, a “Dirty Dozen Plus 2”, so to speak:
(2) Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP)
(3) IMANI Ghana
(4) Ghana National Petroleum Company
(5) Ghana Petroleum Commission
(6) Ghana Catholic Bishop Conference
(7) Christian Council of Ghana.
(8) Ghana Pentecostal Charismatic Churches
(9) Islamic Religious Bodies
(10) National House of Chiefs
(11) National Peace Council
(12) TUC and other Labour Organisations
(13) The NPP, under John Kuffour and now Nana Akuffo-Addo Danquah, with sidekick Takir K. “Hybrid” Hammond, the original racketeers who, though not needed, invented the so-called Ghana Hybrid System, the predatory contract system the NDC simply tweaked to enlarge the pocket books of their new friends in the big offices of the Oil Companies, and their “Big Men”.
(14) John Dramani Mahama, under whose hands and pen the theft of Ghana’s Oil revenues is continuing, even as Ghana’s children and the parents require basic training and assistance for life-skills, healthcare, food and nutrition, housing, transportation, education, culture, etc.
Like IMANI and their Franklin Cudjoe, lately they are shamefully more interested in abusing Ghanaian women who on their own free time and with their own resources are merely agitating for their preferred political action, even as Think Tank IMANI does the same thing with funds from who knows where…!
Scream!
It all goes on the head, under the signature, and on the conscience of Mr. John Dramani Mahama!
What a life, Ghana!
Would Kwame Nkrumah kowtow to that predatory, oil racket of a contract that has thus far siphoned over $6 billion from hungry and desperate mouth and brains in Ghana?
Tell us, Mr. Mahama!
We will never give up until the Government of Ghana proves to the People of Ghana that Ghanaians as Sovereign Owners of the Oil Resources are in fact receiving their Fair-Share of its own Oil Revenues!
Try as hard as you can of only for the record of history, before all the Oil is gone!
Don’t give up until Fair-Trade Oil Share is overstood by even elementary school children from Gonja Bole!
Don’t give up until Fair-Trade Oil Share is a reality for Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana!
