For us to be able to accomplish or fulfill our life’s assignment or purpose, there is the need for us to be focused in life. On the very first day you made up your mind to be great in life, the enemy also planned for your failure or defeat. A lot of things are going to distract you if you want to be successful but dearly beloved, i will admonish you to keep your eyes fixed on your purpose. Be like the lion who wants to get his prey, nothing distracts it.
Many at times, we waste our precious time in arguments that will be of no benefit to us, we think people are advancing more in life than us, we think about the challenges we face, little do we know that the one who is ahead of us, has his focus on something. You making him your focus we keep you behind. Stop the gossips and find something better to do with your life. The one you have made you focus has his focus on something else- Success. Am not saying don’t learn from successful:- You must learn from them, so you will not repeat the mistakes they made. That is why you must read a lot to know what is happening so you can advance in life.
Too many people, waste their time backbiting, and planning ways and means to pull those who are making it in life. Listen to me Brother, You being Jealous of how your friends are making it in life will make you belittle yourself and if care is not taken you find yourself among the fraudsters or ‘sakawa’ folks.
Yesterday, During the Special Life Studies, i told those present that they should not be excited about being the first but the best. You may be ahead of people but dont be too excited about that, because two things in life discourages us or stops us from achieving more. The first is failure and the next is success. Your success today can make you so comfortable that you will miss what was meant for you tomorrow. Someone settled for a Job that pays him 3000cedis, little did he know that hard work and determination would have made him to pay people 3000cedis and more. Hey, 3000 multiplied by 60months is 180,000cedis. Even if he saved or invested 1000 each month he would be having 60,000 which can start a business. Spend time to read about the founder of UT Bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, He dropped a military career to pursue a profession in finance. The military pays well, there are a lot of benefits ( my dad was a soldier so i know) but he wanted more than just that monthly salary. Today some military men take loans from his bank.
Think big, brother. The problem we have is this: immediately we start earning a ‘good’ salary, we think we are receiving more and starts to ‘live good’ and forget about our earlier plans. The question is, what if you get fired? , what if the company you working in collapses? When you are 60 you will go for pension but if you have a business working for you, you will still be earning good.
Spend time to talk to adults, Many of them, when they were young as we are now, wanted to own businesses and companies, but when they settled for a Job that paid ‘1000+’ years ago, they forgot about their visions and goals.
There is a difference between the foundation of a man that is building a normal house and the one building a skyscraper. People were in a hurry to buy cars years ago, but now cannot afford fuel because of their cost of living. Others could have bought it too but looked ahead of time and invested their monies wisely. Now they can buy any car of their choice and are living in big mansions. Today you can afford KFC, are you living your life in a way that can help you to go to a higher place or after some years you cannot even buy waakye sold on the roadside because you think the economy is high.
Brothers and Sisters, lets be focused and achieve what we want to achieve in life. It might take time and you may be discouraged but surge forward and it will be worth the wait. True Success, is making other men successful. The Choice is yours. God Bless You
