Dumelo for President – It was not just a cake, John Dumelo was presented with a very special cake during his recent trip to Lusaka, Zambia.
Dumelo happened to be a guest judge at the recently held 2017 Miss Zambia pageant. He was warmly received at the airport just like any other international guest coming into a country.

But there was a particular gesture that has still got everyone talking. Dumelo was presented with a cake that had the inscription “Welcome To Zambia Future President of Ghana”
John Dumelo shared a photo of him, receiving the cake, on Instagram and said: “I was presented with this lovely cake on my arrival to Zambia…. #humbled ”.
Dumelo for president? This surely rings a bell n the minds of Ghanaians who actively participated in the 2016 electioneering. It can be recalled that at the time, several predictions, as well as prophecies, were made by different political and religious stakeholders.

One which cannot be easily forgotten is that of Gospel musician Cweci Oteng, who stated that John Dumelo will become President of
Ghana someday. The gospel act had said this in a short tweet.
It was unclear why Cweci Oteng made the prediction, as he had supported the NPP, and he campaigned, for President Nana
Addo, while Dumelo, a supporter of the NDC, had supported then incumbent President Mahama.
John Dumelo was actively involved in politics last year. He was known to be a strong supporter of the outgoing president, Mr. John Mahama. Even after losing the election by his candidate, Dumelo chipped in his voice in advice to the incoming president as he advised him not to let Ghana down.
His statement had generated a lot of talks among Ghanaians, many of whom disbelieved and disregarded the statement. And now, following the prediction made by the Zambians, these speculations cum arguments have made their way to the media again.
Many of Dumelo’s Instagram followers believe the cake is a prophecy that he will one day become the First Gentleman of Ghana.
