State Prosecutors in the case in which hiplife artiste, Eugene Ashie affectionately called Wisa is standing trial for indecent exposure are finding it difficult to produce the Disk Jokey (DJ) who was on the show when the incident happened to appear in court.
The DJ was expected to be the third prosecution witness after the investigator and Jessica Opare Saforo, the programmes Manager at Citi FM had all given evidence.
ASP Judith B. Asante, the Prosecutor told the court that they were having some difficulties in producing the witness and efforts to get him to come to court had proven futile.
While adjourning the case, the Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour, Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku urged the prosecution to ensure that the witness was in court.
The young musician of Ekikimi fame was in court after being absent during previous sittings. The court adjourned the case to June 14 by which time the DJ who was behind the console when the accused person exposed his manhood would have been produced to give evidence.
Wisa has been charged with indecent exposure for allegedly exposing his manhood on stage while performing at Citi FM’s Decema 2 Rememba on December 24, 2015.
His lawyer, Mr Avenogbor at the last adjourned date told the court that his client was not feeling well because of some medical issues and prayed the the court to rescind its warrant for the arrest of Wisa which was consequently granted.
