Musician Wanlov the Kubolor has named his new born baby girl after late dancehall songstress Ebony Reigns.
The musician in a message to the late songstress, whose birthday is today February 16, said he is hopeful his daughter, Ebony Akosua Mansa, grows to exude the level of strength the late songstress had while she was alive.

As part of efforts to mark her birthday, her record label Rufftown Records has also released a latest single titled ‘Kokonsa Police’ which has since been making waves on radio.
Birthday messages have been flooding in from colleagues and fans of the late songstress on various social media platforms.

The late songstress born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng died in an accident while she was returning from Sunyani after paying a visit to her mother.
She died together with a childhood friend of hers, Franky Kuri, and a military officer, Lance Corporal Francis Atsu Vondee, who were also onboard the jeep the songstress was travelling in. The driver survived the accident.
The one week celebration of the death of Ebony is expected to take place on Sunday.
