One of the representatives at this year’s National Science and Maths quiz, Christopher Anyinloya, has revealed that had he waited for a third clue to a question, which was asked during the finals, the result would have turned to St Thomas Aquinas’ favour.
This was made known when the 2006 year Old Toms hosted the contestants at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel to present them with certificates to honour their achievement during the competition.
Aquinas came second behind winners Prempeh College. Adisadel College came third.
Christopher together with Bright Asiedu Nimo were the two students who led St. Thomas Aquinas in the finals of the competition.
Prempeh College emerged winners of this year’s National Science & Maths Quiz with 53 points, beating closest contender Saint Thomas Aquinas with two points to lift the coveted trophy.
Adisadel College placed third with 31 in the grand finale which turned out to be the most exciting bit of the quiz this year.
