Two suspects are in the grips of the Kasoa Divisional Police Command after assaulting and threatening residents in Gomoa Ojobi in the Central Region.
The two suspects are part of five persons held by the police in a land dispute case.
The dispute is between Madam Brakuaa, whose bidding was being done by the suspects, and Kow Egyiri.
The dispute had been adjudicated by the Agona Swedru High Court and Madam Brakuaa was found guilty.
But her children including self-styled Lance Corporal Rydbeck Afrifa are said to have forcefully ejected residents.
According to the police, ‘Lance Corporal’ Afrifa and a friend, ACII Asante Prince on May 9 assaulted a number of residents and some potential customers, who have interest to buy parts of the land from Kow Egyiri.
On Saturday, May 20, the two beat up Samuel Kwadwo Osei at a village known as Eduafukwa.
But luck eluded them as they were arrested by the police.
A military identification exercise conducted by officers from Burma Camp proved that the two, both 27, are not military officers.
They will be arraigned before court, according to the police.
