Renowned boxing referee, Tony Weeks, has landed in Ghana to officiate the much anticipated clash between Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe and Argentina’s Javier Chacon on July 22, 2017.
The American arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday morning and he was greeted at the airport by officials of Rising Star Africa Promotions.
The clash, which is scheduled to come off at the 4,000-seater Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, will see Dogboe making his first defence of his WBO International Super Bantamweight belt against Chacon.
Before taking the middle to officiate Dogbe vs. Chacon fight, the experienced referee is expected to conduct a course in ring officiating for Ghanaian boxing enthusiasts and insiders on July 19th at the Bukom Boxing Arena Conference Room.
