Founder of the World Miracle Outreach, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has criticized prophets who have been prophesying the death of some Ghanaian celebrities, and asked that such ‘nonsense’ must stop.
Delivering a sermon at the burial service for Ebony Reigns Saturday, he observed the death prophesies by some men of God has put fear in a lot of musicians and artistes who are now scared of dying.
The late songstress, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, died in a car accident on February 8, 2018, together with her childhood friend Franky Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee of the Ghana Air Force, believed to be her bodyguard.

She was laid to rest Saturday at the Osu Cemetery in Accra by her family, friends and a pack of celebrities in the country.
The caution by the renowned Ghanaian preacher man comes on the back of recent reports of prophecies that some Ghanaian celebrities including Shatta Wale will die.
Following the death of Ebony, one Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry was quoted to have said Shatta Wale would die in July 2018 if he does not repent.
There were other reports also that some prophets predicted Ebony’s death and gave directions as to how to avert it.
“I know most of the musicians and artistes are very scared because some prophets said they are going to die. Who is the prophet who said they are going to die?” Dr. Tetteh asked, and wondered whether those prophets will not die themselves.
No one in this world is immortal, he said, indicating that everyone, including himself, will surely die.
“The prophets will die, the apostles will die, me too I will die, you too you will die. Your father will die, your mother will die. So what is this nonsense you will die? Who will not die?” he wondered.
Dr. Lawrence Tetteh said it was unfortunate that people “scared of dying than scared of going to hell”.
Such people, he advised to seek salvation from God.
