Stonebwoy’s assassination attempt -Information was rife yesterday that wife of dancehall artiste Stonebwoy Louisa Satekla was injured in a knife attack moments before the artiste took to perform in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra.
However Ashaiman District Police Commander, Supt Seth Tay, has denied reports that there was an assassination attempt on Stonebwoy at his ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert.

Stonebwoy had taken to his Facebook page few hours after the show to announce that there was an attempt on his life.
The musician explained he was the target of the knife attack but the attacker had missed and ended up getting his wife injured. Stonebwoy also said that his wife was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment after the attack.
But then, Supt Seth Tay, maintains that his officers were present on the grounds and no incident of the sort was mentioned. The Police Commander indicated that that there were other disturbances at the concert but Stonebwoy’s claim cannot be substantiated.
Moreso, the commander said he had sent officers to the event but they returned with no information pertaining to the incident. This revelation could go a long way in disreputing Stonebwoy’s brand.
Although Ashaiman is said to be one of the areas in the Greater Accra region with a high crime rate, the police in the area has not confirmed reports of Stonebwoy’s assassination attempt which flooded the media over the weekend.
It is also important to note that the artiste has not come out to debunk the Police’s claims. We will bring you more information on this development as events unfold.
Stonebwoy and his wife Louisa were recently in the news following rumors about the couple’s pregnancy. This was after photos of Lousia lying with a protruded belly circulated the media.
The artiste, however, debunked the rumors in an interview where he said that the photos were only photoshopped.
Stonebwoy and Louisa tied the knot on Friday, 16th June at the Unique Floral Centre in Accra. Prior to the wedding, the couple held their engagement ceremony at the Ansong’s family house in Tema.
