Despite getting a first home win in five league matches, Asante Kotoko head coach, Steve Polack, was not fully satisfied with his team.
Kotoko beat Wa All Stars 2-1 in Week 19 of the Ghana Premier League to go fourth on the league log thanks to goals from Obed Owusu and Yakubu Mohammed. However, Polack was not too happy with what he saw and has asked the players to improve on certain aspects of their game.
“I am happy we got the three points but I was not happy with the goal we gave away. It came from our mistakes. In addition, we need to be more lethal. We created our own chances in both halves but we could not score them. We need to be more lethal. I can understand the fans if they are not happy but we got the result.”
Kotoko play Dwarfs, Medeama, Inter Allies, Hearts and WAFA in their next five league matches.
