The Office of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Bill and that of the Zongo Development Fund have suffered a jolt after being withdrawn from Parliament by government.
This comes on the wake of concerns raised by the Minority regarding the laying of the two bills.
The Minority had complained that the bills were not gazetted and laid as stipulated by the 1992 Constitution.
It was announced on Wednesday in the House that the bills have been withdrawn.
