Bukom Banku speaks -Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku spoke on different platforms yesterday on his loss to Bastir Samir at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday.
Bukom Banku suffered a humiliating defeat to Bastie Samir in the cruiserweight non-title bout held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra on Saturday night.

Banku who struggled to stand on is feet from the sixth round was completely defeated in the 7th round after yet another mean punch from his opponent landed him on the floor leaving the referee, Roger Banner with no option but to end the bout.
A large section of Ghanaians including some of his counterparts jubilated over Banku’s defeat. This was as a result of the boxer’s excessive braggings. Banku known for his proud and controversial ways had bragged about beating Bastie in the sixth round, among other things.
However, he lost woefully and the media has been fed with more than enough with regards to the massive mixed reactions that followed his shameful defeat. However, the boxer sounded resilient while he spoke on various media platforms on his defeat.
Bukom Banku has said he was shocked to see his own mother join other women to jubilate over his defeat to Bastie Samir.
According to him, most women were happy he lost the bout. It is important to note that Banku has been in several cases of violence against women.
Speaking on Kasapa FM on Monday, Bukom Banku accepted his defeat describing his conquest as a normal thing.

Bukom Banku has also revealed that he received a fight purse of GHC 50, 000 from his bout against Bastie Samir. During his interview: he also revealed how much he was paid after the fight.
I was paid GHS50,000, you can ask the promoter. I wasn’t paid GHS1million. I was paid half the money to aid my training and I’m yet to get the balance
Baku has also called for a rematch against sworn rival Bastie Samir after his defeat in Saturday’s much publicized ‘Make or Break’ bout.
The controversial boxer said he will go and train for a rematch against Samir adding that it was a mistake and a misunderstanding that led to his defeat.
Meanwhile, Bastir has accepted the challenge, as he earlier indicated his willingness to face Bukom Banku in another boxing encounter.
After Saturday’s bout, Samir said he was willing to accept a rematch if Banku proposed one but is yet to officially respond to Banku’s latest challenge.
