The Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused Kufuor demeaning the legacy of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Kufuor he said was meant to make up for his mistreatment of the sepulchre when Nkrumah’s wife Fathia died but didn’t.
Instead, he “laid her coffin in the same dugout where Nkrumah had been buried and he feigned to have been mourning her and we all fell for it and joined in the mourning without handkerchiefs wiping our tears”
