Fingers of criticisms have been pointing to now ‘born again’ popular Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel as well as actress Ingrid Alabi following the release of some artwork photos for their upcoming movie, Adam The Eve.
The viral movie artworks show the two stars pose in different compromising positions and half-covered in leaves in a bid to depict images of the biblical Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. This have caused raised eyebrows, especially in the direction of actor Majid Michel who is now a staunch preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Majid who used to be popular for his lover/play boy roles in movies turned a new leaf about a year ago, and has since distanced himself from acts that could contradict his Christian faith, including playing raunchy movie roles.
The fact that the Adam The Eve movie is said to have been shot about two years, with Majid playing those sexually suggestive roles during his old life days, hasn’t stopped the criticisms as some believe the photos in the newly emerging posters are recent shots.
However, actress Ingrid Alabi has come out to defend the controversial photos, insisting that there is completely nothing ‘naked’ about them. Speaking on News-One on Monday, Ingrid expressed utter surprise and disbelief in some people’s reference to the images as ‘naked’ photos.
“How can we be naked? We were covered in leaves,” she stressed.
Ingrid who has been away from the silver screens for a long time now, makes a big comeback with Adam The Eve which is also her first self-produced film. She also recorded the original soundtrack of the romantic movie.
‘Adam The Eve’ is a Ghanaian film that aims at educating people, especially married couples, to be content with what they have.
In the movie, Majid played the role of Fred, Ingrid’s husband, with Ingrid being a working class lady who scarcely had time to please her husband, especially in bed. So he(Fred) sacked her and got a new wife who does the “bed business” so well but lacked other qualities, thereby causing Fred to tearfully wish to have his former wife back.
