The police at Nyinahini have retrieved three bodies from an uncompleted structure at Kapem in the Atwima Mponua District of Ashanti.
The first body was discovered by some labourers who were clearing a bush in the uncompleted building.
The owner of the structure, Thomas Agyei, reported the matter to the police and when the police came around, two other bodies were discovered.
The Nyinahini District Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mr Ambrose Aboagye told Graphic Online that on April 27, 2017, Mr Agyei lodged a complaint that he engaged two labourers to clear the bushes in his uncompleted building at Kapem and whilst weeding, they came across one dead body.
ASP Aboagye said when police went to the scene, two other bodies were found.
He said police found red arm-bands around the three decomposed bodies raising concerns they may have been used for rituals.
The bodies have since been deposited at the morgue.
ASP Aboagye said the police suspect the bodies which were yet to be identified were at the spot for about three months.
He said there has not been any report of a missing person in the area.
