DC Queen -A touching and bizarre incident happened in Accra, towards the end of the month of July 2017…
Police in Dome-Kwabenya, a suburb of Accra has arrested four persons in connection with the brutal killing of the popular social media star whose real name is Lydia Ama Serwaa.
Popular IG user DC Queen was found dead on July 26, at Dome Kwabenya, Ga East District, Greater Accra, after attending an all night party at Just Torch Pub. Lydia’s body was found quite alright, but then; her tongue and vagina had been cut off, presumably for ritual purposes.

Confirming her death on social media, the deceased’s friends posted touching tributes to her; drawing the attention of the public to the incident.
Serwa’s death caused an uproar on social media with many unsympathetic comments, as people criticized the victim for living the kind of life that exposed her to danger.
Some others used the opportunity to caution women who go after men for money, as they could end up the same way. However, her friends condemned those who criticized the victim and said that DC Queen would never have been on the streets making a living if she came from a good home.

DC Queen was murdered after an all night party at the Just Torch pub. The deceased was widely known as a ‘party girl’ who gained social media attention by her raunchy snaps as well as posting several photos of herself at several parties.
However, she met her demise on the fateful day the ritual killers made away with her.
Following news of the death of the Instagram star, the Police launched investigations into the matter and thus were the findings. According to the police, the four, all suspected to be fraud boys, are James Opoku, Yussif Ahmed, Akwasi Adae as well as Muhammed Abdul-Sadeek. They are currently in police custody assisting investigations.
Some unconfirmed reports also indicate that Serwaa was also into the habit of hanging out loosely with suspected fraud boys popularly known as Sakawa, at various parties including pubs in and around Accra.
