Many were stunned after news went viral that Black Entertainment Television (BET) has penned down a new record deal with creative multimedia outfit christened “Zylofon Media”.
A press confab, organised [15th June, 2017] to unveil the current 2017 BET nominee [Stonebwoy] revealed that his mother brand “BhimNation” will scout and nurture more great talents.
According to him, hardly do we see artistes in Ghana signed to a record label in Ghana… “but today I’m very happy to be part of Zylofon Media”.
Known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, thanked the media for their continuous support and urged corporate institution to support the creative industry.
For his part, CEO of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah, explained reasons his outfit signed Stonebwoy to their label.
“…Stonebwoy understands the fact that music is business…he’s not just an artiste, he understands music and business”, he said.
Mr. Appiah described the “Go Higher” hit maker as an artiste whatever investment you make won’t go down the drain and he sees Stonebwoy as such an artiste.
Stonebwoy becomes the first Reggae and Dancehall artiste to be signed to Zylofon Media.
