The Vice President Monday afternoon visited the Kokomlemle premises of the Multimedia Group to commiserate with the management and staff following the passing of Kwadwo Asare-Baffuor Acheampong, host of Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM.
After signing the Book of Condolence at the Multimedia premises, the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited the Tesano home of the late broadcaster to also commiserate with his family.
He was accompanied by government officials including Anthony Abayifa Karbo, MP for Lawra and Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways.
He told the media that he was “deep, deep, shock” when news of KABA’s death got to him.
He described him as one of the best and professional journalists Ghana had and also attested to his neutrality when he hosted the political talk show.
He had earlier tweeted on Sunday commiserating with the bereaved family.
I have learnt with shock, the sudden demise of @Kojokaba of Asempa FM and the Multimedia Group.
May God give his widow, family and the entire media fraternity, the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
