About two thousand Elders, Deacons, Deaconesses and leaders of The Church of Pentecost, joined Pastors and wives in the Kaneshie Area for a four-day power packed Apostolization programme.
The annual event held under the theme “Remain In Christ and His Basic Message” based on 1 John 2:24-25′ had Apostles of the church equipping and imparting knowledge into the officers.
It also gave opportunity to participants who thronged the Kaneshie Central Assembly auditorium daily to deepen their relationship with God through sound teaching and prayers.
The various speakers led by Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, who was the guest speaker, dwelled on the Tenets of the Church of Pentecost. Other speakers included Finance and Administration Director of the Church of Pentecost, Pastor Nicholas Darko, Kaneshie District Pastor, Pastor Isaac Ekow Eshun, and Pastor George Prah Amonoo of Darkuman District.
The event held from March 13-16 was chaired by the Kaneshie Area Head, Apostle Mike Etrue.
In his address to open the retreat, Aps. Mike Etrue underscored, “The leadership [of the Church] is of the view that our Tenets as a church represent the basic message of the Lord. However, knowing the letter of the Tenets alone is not enough. For this reason, this year has been dedicated to deeper understanding of these tenets within the framework of the Spirit’s leadings, so as to grasp both the letter and the spirit of the tenets.”
