Over 34, 000 residents within Tema are expected to be affected in the event of flood this year.
This include some residents around Communities 18,19, 20, 3,5, Tema New Town among other places.
Tema Metro Coordinator for NADMO, Hadjia Zenabu Abdulai who revealed this to Adom News says individuals building in flood prone areas among other practices make the situation very scary.
Hadjia Zenabu Abdulai says the likely affected residents are being sensitized to relocate before any eventuality.
She said some measures are being taken by her outfit together with Tema Metropolitan Assembly to mitigate the impact of the flood.
