The founder and General Overseer of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has ventured into acting.
The pastor, affectionately called ‘Angel’ by his congregation, has starred in a movie titled ‘Obofour Wo Krom’ which literally translates as ‘angel is in town.’
A poster to the movie is circulating on social media with Bishop Daniel Obinim laying hands on actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko.
The producer of the movie Blessed Adjei, told Citi Showbiz that the movie is a true life story of someone.
“It is a story about someone who lives abroad. He had a serious problem and through Bishop Obinim, he got it solved. His story was so touching that I decided to use it for a movie,” he said.
Blessed further explained that he discussed the story with Bishop Obinim and he accepted to play a role in the movie. As of now, it is not clear what specific role Bishop Obinim plays in the movie but the producer has described Obinim’s role as ‘awesome.’
“He found the role very simple. His facial expressions, continuity and everything were on point. He remembered his lines without missing a word. I will give him ‘excellent’,” he noted.
The movie will be out on the market in two weeks. Also starring in ‘Obofour Wo Krom’ are Kwaku Arhin aka Abrobe, Benedicta Gafah and Blessed Adjei himself.
‘Obinim Wo Krom’ was produced and directed by Blessed Adjei for Dandy Films.
