Below is the full statement
The leadership of the NPP Loyal Ladies wishes to thank His Excellency, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his continued trust and confidence in the women of Ghana, especially in young women. As promised in the NPP’s 2016 manifesto, women will be given every opportunity and the necessary support to actively participate in the governance of this country. It is abundantly evident that the President is on the path to fulfilling this promise. This will surely contribute to boost the morale of every girl child to aspire to take up pivotal leadership positions in this country. Indeed, we have no doubt that this worthy initiative shall produce Ghana’s first female President.
We wish therefore to express our most sincere gratitude to the President for the appointment of Hon. Millicent Kabuki Caboo as District Chief Executive for Biakoye, Mama Vero Alele as District Chief Executive of Bole Bamboi and Hon. Jennifer Dede Afagbedzi as Municipal Chief Executive for La Nkwantanang Madina, all of whom are proud members of NPP Loyal Ladies. We have no iota of doubt that they shall give out their utmost best to diligently serve our nation Ghana in their respective roles.
We at Loyal Ladies feel honored and humbled by their appointments. As women of Ghana and members of the New Patriotic Party, we are in full support of the Akufo-Addo government to achieve a better life for all Ghanaians and ultimately to promote the socio-economic welfare of all women in Ghana.
Thank you.
Signed
Accra
Perpetual Lomokie-Akwada
President, NPP Loyal Ladies
