Neymar has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer as he looks for a new challenge.
And according to French broadcaster RMC, PSG have now reached an agreement with the Brazil international over personal terms.
Neymar’s father has been in discussions with PSG and is said to have agreed a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 club, which will see him earn almost £27million a season after tax.
PSG are expected to smash the world transfer record and meet Neymar’s mammoth £199m release clause as the two clubs are yet to agree on a fee.
RMC add that PSG could complete the signing of Neymar as soon as Tuesday.
PSG boss Unai Emery is desperate to improve his front line this summer after missing out on the Ligue 1 title to Monaco last season.
The likes of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe have also been linked with moves to PSG, but Neymar is said to be their priority signing.
Neymar added fuel to the speculation yesterday after he stormed out of a training session following a bust-up with new Barcelona signing Nelson Semedo.
Barcelona are desperate to keep hold of the 25-year-old this summer but club president Josep Bartomeu was far from confident yesterday when quizzed on their chances.
Asked if Neymar would be staying at the Nou Camp, Bartomeu said: “You know that players decide if they want to leave, they can decide.
“But as far as Barcelona, we want him, and we need him. Because if we want to win, we need the best players possible.”
Neymar has helped Barcelona to two La Liga, three Copa del Reys and the Champions League since joining in 2013, scoring 105 goals in his 186 appearances.
