The Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSB&T), will engage the general public in a special Open House (opening of NSB&T facilities), event on Thursday June 1st June, 2017.
The School is part of the Nduom University that is under development.
NSB&T is situated at Aboabo, Ayensudo, near Elmina in the Central Region. The occasion will offer parents, guardians and prospective students the opportunity to get an insight into the School’s curriculum; to explore and engage in discussions on crucial topics that would assist students to make informed choices on programmes and courses on offer.
The event offers a perfect example of how NSB&T intends nurturing, building and empowering prospective Senior High School graduates to get a real experience of tertiary education in Ghana.
It will offer an unprecedented experience for the Open House attendants to tour the immediate surroundings of the Nduom School of Business & Technology, to meet with faculty members, admission officers, experience the lecture halls, programmes on offer, state of the art libraries, ICT laboratories and many others.
Resource persons will be deployed to engage the Open House attendants in a variety of topics.
These include Transition from SHS to University; Freedom versus Responsibility; Expectations of a University Student and Time Management.
The others are Career Development & Placement; Application, Admission requirements, Funding and Scholarships. These topics are expected to help prospective University graduates to expand their worldview, meet new people, test-driven potential majors, and to gain valuable knowledge and skills.
Organizers of the event believe the programme will ensure that all high school students who get the privilege to enter NSB&T are well prepared both academically and socially for college success.
