The monthly programme to allow ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) communicate their policies to the public is scheduled to start today, Monday, May 15.
Dubbed the ‘National Policy Summit’, the programme is a strategic dissemination of information on government programmes and policies, as explained by the Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid, at its launch last month.
The Summit will begin with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and its agencies since the economy is the priority sector for the current administration.
The Summit will be opened by the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
To be held over two days each month, the Summit will take place at the Accra International Conference Center.
The expectation of the Summit is to build partnerships and elicit feedback to government to enhance further policy formulation.
