The former Member of Parliament for Tema West, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, has been named the new Administrator of the District Assembly Common Fund.
This was announced on the floor of Parliament by the Speaker, Professor Mike Aaron Oquaye, on Tuesday June 6 when he read a communiqué from the office of the president.
Accra News’ parliamentary correspondent, Richard Appiah, reports that the Speaker has accordingly submitted her name to the Appointments Committee for her vetting to take place at a future date.
