The Italian Football Federation, FIGC, has upheld an appeal against the one-match suspension of Pescara’s Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari.
Muntari walked off during his side’s 1-0 loss at Cagliari last weekend after he had complained of racial abuse to the referee.
His complaint to referee Daniele Minelli rather saw him being Yellow-carded.
FIGC later decided not to sanction Cagliari fans, claiming those who made the chants were too few to warrant any sanctions.
But on Friday, following world-wide condemnation, the FIGC’s Corto Sportivo d’Apello overturned the former Inter Milan, AC Milan and Udinese man’s ban.
He will, therefore, be available for the tie with Crotone on Sunday.
