Nominee list for the 2017 Most Influential Young Ghanaians has been released. The 2017 Most Influential Young Ghanaians awards is the third edition of the series which has been organised by Avance Media (AM) since 2015.
Recall that both the 2015 and 2016 overall Most Influential Ghanaian award was grabbed by undercover investigative journalist. Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The 2017 nominees who are 50 in number are classified under 10 categories which include Business, Entertainment, Law and Governance, Leadership and Civil Society, Lifestyle, Media, Personal Development and Academia, Science and Technology, Sports and Social Enterprise and Philanthropy.
The final winners will be announced on the 8th of January, 2018. These will comprise the overall Most Influential Young Ghanaian and winners of each of each of the ten categories. Public voting has officially opened on gh.avancemedia.org to elect the winners.
The Most Influential Young Ghanaians rankings is known to be one of the most respected system that honours youth excellence in Ghana. The ranking is organised by Avance Media in partnership with Goal.com, ReputationPoll.com, Abjel Communications, WatsUp TV, TANOEBusiness.com, News for Africa Online, My Naija Naira, Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH, CliqAfrica, Pulse Ghana, Africa Feeds, and CELBMD Africa.

The awards are targeted at reconising and rewarding young Ghanaians whose hard work and activities significantly and positively affected and improved the lives of people in specific areas in the year under review.
