Embattled entertainment chief of Tamale, Mohammed Hafiz Diema Naa who was beaten to pulp by subjects of another seems to have courted more trouble for himself than he thought.
Some chiefs in the area are cautioning him to tread cautiously because his beatings by aggrieved supporters of another chief are just a tip of the iceberg.
The Dagbon Diema Naa Abubakari Mohammed Awal has warned that Mohammed Hafiz Diema Naa could be treated worse if he fails to check his conduct within the municipality in the coming days as his behavior smacks of disrespect to traditional authorities.
Mohammed Hafiz Diema Naa who claims to be a member of Tamale Market taskforce under the authority of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly (TMA), has been accused by locals of harassing petty traders and residents with armed security personnel a situation which resulted in his being beaten earlier this week
He was reported to have ejected some traders on a parcel of land the Buglana had offered them temporally while they find a permanent location for the traders who were affected by the recent decongestion exercise but the Diema Naa and some hoodlums reportedly seized their wares under the guise of acting as task-force members.
This is said to have infuriated some chiefs in the area who have vowed to personally deal with him for usurping their authority calling on all those who have empowered him to engage in such rowdy acts to put his conduct to check or they will deal with him their own way.
The entertainment chief who has always been in the news for the wrong reasons was earlier this year reported to have during a live radio discussion made the wildest sex allegations on live radio on Tamale-based Zaa Radio claiming he has had sex with half of young ladies in Tamale .
According to the Ex-British Military Officer, ever since he returned to Ghana from the UK some five years ago, he has ‘chopped’ half of Tamale ladies and told the host if he dared him, he will start mentioning names of ladies he slept with.
‘I have finished half of Tamale girls’ Chief Hafiz stated explicitly.
His comments incurred the fury of a section of residents who petitioned the Dakpema to strip him of his titles to save the image of the chieftaincy institution.
