Miss Amewode, who is a student at Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), is amongst 25 contestants waiting to be selected as part of the 10 contestants to represent the regions of Ghana.
The beauty queen explained what motivated her to take up the challenge.
“This pageant is very prestigious and not like the other pageants in town. I joined because I want to use it as a bigger platform to sell out my project and what I want to do to help my community and country at large, which involves some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
She added that her expectation in the pageant is to come out successfully.
The ten ladies who will qualify will represent the ten regions of Ghana. This will be done in a ballot form and thus the contestants will represent the other Regions other than theirs.
Miss Amewode further encouraged her fans to vote for her so that she can stand a chance to wear the crown.
