Late last week, an artist presented portrait of Sammy Forson to the Live FM Presenter at the station’s premises.
It was a perfect ‘replica’ of a photo of Forson with his hand on the left side of his chest.
The elated Lifestyle Café host literally ‘invaded’ spaces at the office showing the portrait to everyone in sight. Moments later, the two were snapped by the station’s in-house photographer, Kelvin Kenneth at the front desk of the media house.
Livefmghana.com spoke to the artist, known as Armstrong the Future. He told us, he did the drawing with a week, and was inspired by the need to use his “artistic talent to promote” someone as “influential” as Forson.
He was “happy” that Forson liked his work because he wasn’t sure what his reaction would be.
He added that he had a prior relationship with Forson who he met after he drew a portrait of rapper Sarkodie, who is managed by the Lifestyle Café host. The latter commended him on his work, and often encourages him to keep at it.
Born Kingsley Acheampong, he also specializes in graphite pencil art, and is also a rapper, singer and a producer.
