Medeama Sporting Club beat Berekum Chelsea 3-1 in a rescheduled Ghana Premier League Week 20 match played on Thursday at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
The match was to be played on Wednesday but it was rained off and set for Thursday.
The home team started on a positive note and took the lead through Paul Aidoo in the 17th minute.
Chelsea responded in the 31st minute through Stephen Sarfo to leave the first half level.
In the second half, Medeama sought to win the tie and they found the lead for the second time in the 68th minute through Bernard Ofori. They made the result certain when Bismark Oppong found the net in the 82nd minute.
Medeama moved up to 5th on the league table with 28 points while Berekum Chelsea ended the match in 8th place on 26 points.
