Lily of the Roses School-Madina on Sunday, July 23, 2017 held their 15th annual graduation and prize-giving day ceremony.
This year’s celebration was on the theme: “Education: Number One Priority For All Children.”
The Headmaster of the school, Mr. Mike Ohene-Essel, in his address to parents and all present at the graduation ceremony, expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God, parents, and teaching and non-teaching staff members for sustaining the school and making it possible for it to witness yet another graduation day.
Inasmuch as he was grateful for the support in cash and kind from a few individuals and parents from time to time, he appealed for more support to enable the school acquire more computers/laptops since “ICT in modern child education has become very important in school curriculum.”
“We will sincerely be more than grateful if individuals and groups can come to our aid,” he appealed.
Mr. Ohene-Essel also reiterated the school management and staff’s firm resolve to provide quality education to all children enrolled at Lily of the Roses, without compromising the objectives of giving a solid foundation towards raising world class leaders for the country.
Lily of the Roses School has been providing quality education at reduced fees for over a decade now. It is situated in the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly, in the Doku clinic area, Madina Old road, Accra.
