But because of change of government things have been flat a bit, hopefully by end of year the GLMIS should be functional… and this will be sent across all the regions in Ghana,” Deputy Employment Minister, Bright Wireko Brobbey said on on Thursday.

According to Mr. Brobbey, the program will factor into its system persons who benefit from such government initiatives.
He also explained that the labour marketing systems will also rely on the labour agencies in the various regions for data.
“What is going to happen is that information on people looking for jobs, availability of jobs from the various sector ministries will all be centralized and keep in so as and when people go in to access and have placements this is able to track. And then we are also able to generate and synchronize and be able to tell the general public how many jobs we are providing within a period of time,” he added.
