Beauty institution, La Monada Haven Beauty College, has held its second graduation day in Accra.
In all, sixteen graduates passed out this year.
The short and brief ceremony took place over the weekend at Gbawe, a suburb of Accra.
The event which coincided with the commissioning of the school’s ultra modern building was on the theme: “Raising Future Entrepreneurs.”
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of La Monada Beauty College, Ms. Hidaya Abubakar, said: “The lunch of this new edifice is a great achievement for La Monada Haven Beauty College as it will enable us provide quality education and entrepreneurial skills to several Ghanaian youth.”
She urged the graduates to aim high in life and also save enough to be able to start their own businesses.
She also urged the youth who want to pursue beauty, as their passion, to visit La Monada Haven Beauty College.
Formerly known as Hiddy’s Creation, now La Monada Haven Beauty College, it was founded in 2013 and runs Diploma and Certificate programmes in Make-up Artistry, Bridal Hair Styling, Beads Making, Facial Therapy, Nail Technology among other courses.
Graduates of the school were elated as they completed their courses and were ready for the Make-up Artistry business.
For her part, the CEO of Ghana Make-up Awards, Rebecca Donkor, commended Ms. Hidaya Abubakar for grooming the students who are fit for the Make-up industry in Ghana and beyond.
